Editing Page Breaks
Page Breaks out of Final Draft aren’t always perfect. This will help you put the Page Breaks in the exact spot as in Final Draft.
When to use it
- After you import a script.
- Anytime you need to adjust the page breaks.
Steps
- Click on the Edit Mode button, this will turn GREEN when active.
- Hold down the ALT button and Left Mouse Drag in the page break margin.
- A horizontal yellow line will approximate where the new page break will be.
- It will snap to the start of each Paragraph Block.
Notes
Just like in Final draft, you cannot break apart any larger paragraph blocks. You can’t add a page break in the middle of an action or long dialog.
