Adding Page Breaks
Page Breaks out of Final Draft aren’t always perfect. Make sure to line up the page breaks exactly as you have in Final Draft with these tools.
When to use it
- When you first import a script.
- If you need to adjust the script by making it longer.
Steps
- Click on the Generate Approximate Page Breaks button
- This will approximate where GAS thinks your page breaks should be. It isn’t always exactly on, so you must EDIT PAGE BREAKS
- The icon will be light yellow now and can’t be used again.
Notes
It is close but not exact. Before adding any shot markers, be sure to adjust/add/delete any page breaks that are not in the exact spot as in Final Draft.
