IMPORTING A SCRIPT
Imports an FDX formatted script.
When to use it
- When you first start the plugin
Steps
1 – Click Import Script button

2 – A popup will ask you to choose your script.
3 – Once you choose your script, a popup will ask you what formatting you want your scenes and shots to be.

4 – IF you have numbered the scenes in Final Draft, click this button to reuse those numbers. Otherwise, GAS will use the Scene Numbering you choose here.
By 10, means that your scenes/shots will be in increments of 10 – ie 10, 20, 30
By 1, means that your scenes/shots will be in increments of 1 – ie 1, 2, 3
Alphabetical means that your scenes/shots will be in increments alphabetically – ie A, B, C. After Z, they turn into AA, AB, AC
5 – Click OK
Notes
The shot list will populate according to what your scenes are numbered.
Your scene is automatically saved.
